Lee Sheng Wang is 19 years old and currently pursuing a degree in Bachelor of Communication (HONS) Advertising at University Tunku Abdul Rahman.

He has participated in many learning programs including courses organized by National Film Department (FNM), Department of Broadcasting (RTM), National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS), facilitated by Mr Michael Wiese. Sheng Wang represented Malaysia in The ASEAN-ROK INDEPENDENT CINEMA WORKSHOP held at Los Banos, Laguna, Philippines, 2009. Only two representatives from each of the Asean countries were selected by a selection panel comprising internationally known filmmakers.

Recently Sheng Wang was a nominee for two awards at The 23rd Film Festival Malaysia (FFM), Shah Alam, 2010 for Best Documentary Film Award and Best Short Film Award. Sheng Wang's short Film has also been nominated for the Kuala Lumpur International Film Festival (KLIFF) 2010. His film will be screened with other international films from other countries from 24-28 November, 2010.

Sheng Wang's three minutes English version short film "Cochlear Implant Surgery" won Silver Prize in The Royal Commonwealth Vision Award, London on 14 October 2010. The Award was jointly organised by the Royal Commonwealth Society and the Commonwealth Broadcasting Association. Sheng Wang had the privilege of being flown to London, courtesy of various sponsors including MAS, FINAS and the British High Commission, to receive his award at a high-profile Commonwealth Gala Awards Ceremony attended by senior diplomats, leaders of Commonwealth organisations and media figures including the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago.

In 2008, his production "Pembedahan Implan Koklea" was among the Top FIVE Winners in the documentary category in the National Short Film Awards Competition "Anugerah Karyawan Muda 2008", organized by the Ministry of Information, Communications, Arts and Culture in collaboration with the National Film Department (FNM) and Department of Broadcasting (RTM). This documentary is educational, promoting the restoration of hearing to those who are impaired in hearing.

At the age of 15, he produced a short film titled "Keluarga Bahagia Tanpa Dadah". He was among the Top TEN Winners in the Public Service Category in a National Short Film Awards Competition "Anugerah Filem Pendek 2006" organized by the Ministry of Information, National Film Department (FNM) and Department of Broadcasting (RTM). Sheng Wang's short film and documentary production had been aired more than 41 times on national Television (TV1 & TV2). He was commended for being the youngest contestant who won a placing in the competition. He appeared on "LIVE" national TV interview on "RTM 1- Selamat Pagi Malaysia" and "RTM 2- Hello on TWO" as award winning guest in 2007 and as a guest teen spokesperson.

Sheng Wang was nominated to vie for the Selangor Young Talent Awards (Anugerah Bakat Muda Selangor). He was nominated as a finalist is the category "Seni Visual- Grafik/Media Baru".
